Sadly we have been out of our lovely Brut since before Christmas. The reason being that we purchased a disgorging line and have been patiently waiting for the builders to finish building the warehouse where the line will be installed.
However, we are now thrilled to announce that construction has finally completed and as soon as the 2002 Brut is disgorged, we will begin selling the Brut again. The 2002 is a blend of about 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. And after five years on yeast lees, is "as fresh as a button" to use Mike Allan's words. At Huia we are looking forward to savouring our favourite bubbly again...very soon!
