Huia is blessed with a small, experienced, hard-working team of winemakers and staff who have come from all over the world.
Matt and Robert trawl the vineyards unceasingly making sure that everything from the pruning to the Pinot Gris is always perfect, while their loyal regiment of backpacking helpers trail in their wake. Not to mention the cows who wander the vineyards protecting all that they don't eat!
There is never a dull moment in the winery with Mike and Vicky, especially with Vicky's taste in music. While Furry the cat can be occasionally seen prowling between the barrels as if she owns the place.
The whirring dynamo of the office, Claudia, keeps everything ticking over and making sure we all do as we are told.
Tui runs the cellar door and always has a smile and a wealth of information for any visitor that drops by for a tasting.
Whilst this is going on Claire, James and Izzy, in America, bang the drum to make sure everyone hears how great Huia's wine is and buys it!
